Gareth qualified as a doctor in London in 1991 and has held a variety of roles as a Doctor, in both the NHS and private health sector, and has a born-again passion for promoting healthier living.

Gareth was a GP partner for 23 years in Daventry, Northamptonshire both in clinical and managerial roles, and continues to work clinically as a GP locum and at his local Community hospital.

He was the GP practice/locality representative on many diverse medical boards, including being a board member of the Northamptonshire Local Medical Committee.

Gareth is presently the President and Audit Lead for ASPC (Association of Surgeons in Primary Care) and is one of the leading UK authorities regarding Vasectomy, having set up, and still running, the only national vasectomy audit, with his data featured in press articles and published medical papers. He continues to help run the only dedicated vasectomy study update workshops in the UK.

Gareth had undertaken over 3000 vasectomies throughout the Midlands, before retiring from operating in 2016 due to a catastrophic eye condition (now thankfully cured), the traumatic events of which made him reflect on his own work/life balance and increasingly question his own health.

Since leaving General Practice, Gareth has made it his goal to help all individuals to make their lifestyle healthier and is passionate about offering easier to understand information and health access that would enable individuals to take positive proactive action to improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
